Viktor von Essen has extensive experience and expertise as a litigation lawyer. After studying law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and the University of Oxford (m.Jur.), he practiced as a conflict resolution lawyer for ten years, including at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (JUVE Top 40 under 40 lawyers). He then became a start-up entrepreneur, including at the AI incubator Merantix. In November 2023, he founded the startup Libra, which deals with the automation of civil proceedings with the help of AI.
